Meet Dolma
Psychotherapist and Couples Counsellor
I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology awarded by The Institute of Psychosynthesis in affiliation with Middlesex University.

Born and raised in India amongst the Tibetan community in exile, I have grown up in a world where mindful practice is an integral part of daily life. This led to a specialist fundraising career supporting those of the Tibetan diaspora.
My interest in therapy was sparked many years ago when I experienced how talking to someone who really listened in a space that felt safe and non-judgemental could actually help me! I noticed how this process helped me to see things in a different way and as a result, I changed the things that were no longer helpful. This inspired me to undertake a therapy training myself as I found therapy invaluable and feel passionate about its benefits.

My approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, compassion-based and draws on the findings of current neuroscience research.

Through counselling and psychotherapy, I seek to value, respect and listen to you in confidence and without judgment.
What qualifies me to support you?

Dolma has a great way of bringing humour to situations, which allows me to detach and see things in a more lighthearted way. I have felt supported by her during some very challenging times and in the process of finding my own path in life.
- Sophie C
My therapy with Dolma provided a space for me to explore some deeply painful memories and work through them. I am now able to accept the past and let go of its control over me. Going through this process with a psychotherapist who supported me at all times with warmth, insight, and understanding made all the difference.

Dolma brings a combination of gentle empathy and insightful questioning to encourage me to look at things differently and ‘with curiosity’... I would definitely recommend her as a therapist ... she brings a lovely warmth and humour to the sessions and the effect is that I feel safe making changes in small, manageable steps.
